Starting Comfort Builders LLC was a deeply personal decision inspired by my own experiences and a desire to improve the restoration industry. Before founding the company, I spent years working in remodeling and building home additions, gaining valuable experience in construction. However, my perspective shifted six years ago when a fire devastated my own home.
Going through that ordeal gave me a firsthand understanding of the challenges homeowners face after a disaster. While the restoration company we hired completed their work, I saw clear opportunities to improve customer service and provide more personalized care. This experience motivated me to pursue a career in restoration, where I could make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
I began by taking classes, earning certifications through the IICRC, and gaining hands-on experience. For three years, I worked with a well-established restoration company, learning the nuances of the industry and identifying areas for innovation. With this foundation, I decided to launch Comfort Builders LLC in 2021, focusing on both technical excellence and exceptional customer care.
From the beginning, my goal was to create a company that prioritized clients’ needs during some of their most stressful moments. I combined my expertise with tools like Xactimate and a commitment to compassionate service to ensure every project exceeded expectations. Whether addressing water damage, fire restoration, or remodeling, Comfort Builders LLC has always aimed to restore not just properties but also peace of mind.
